Really good and delicious selection of cakes and other delicacies, I would love to come back again and again!

The cafe is cult. As a cake lover you have to visit. The choice is huge. Keep coming back.

The staff is very friendly, the goods are very good and definitely worth a visit

We got 3 pieces on Sunday. Frankfurt wreath, rum slices and mocha tartlets. Everything tasted fantastic. Yes it is not cheap but worth the price!

Very large selection of cakes ... something for everyone. The hot dark chocolate was great, you can break the chocolate into the hot milk and let it melt. We recommend! Service very friendly. Premises are ok, but nothing special.

Certainly one of the best cafes in the area, with a huge selection of cakes. Prices are high, but for the very elaborate and fine cakes they are definitely appropriate! Five stars on offer, but the service seems a bit uncoordinated. It was more than half an hour before we could pay, find the right waitress for it and she had successfully fought with the cash register ...

Average cake and service. Names are like smoke and mirrors, the quality of the past is a thing of the past. For cake lovers, I recommend Café Schmidt in Freiburg.

There is still nothing wrong with the quality, 1A! Friendly and hardworking service. Unfortunately, the prices go through the roof: 5.30 € for a piece of plum cake from the tray with cream are too much in my opinion!

A really great café in Staufen. We love the "Black Forest cake". Every time we go to or return from Italy, we go to this café. The cake there is just heavenly.

Ice cream was not tasty. It was full of ice crystals. The whipped cream contained many lumps. Ice creams were half melted because they stood on the counter for minutes before being brought to the table. The service was very unfriendly. Very amateurish.

Were happy to eat coffee and cake here in 2018 And in 2020 it is still highly recommended. The Black Forest cake is a pleasure ... Even in times of corona, the hygiene concept is wonderfully implemented ...

Ordered Black Forest and cranberry cake. And 2 cups of coffee. The Black Forest cake cream is full of very strong wine fragrance. The cranberry is my favorite in this shop. Sour and sweet at the same time. You also can eat the freshness of the berry. Whole shop is decorated very beautiful and elegant .

Blueberry and raspberry pies were extremely fabulous. Burst of flavor and freshness in my mouth. Cozy place with river view.

A very welcoming local right on the water. The service was very nice. It was not long before our order was placed. When you visit the pastry shop you will find a huge selection of different pies and cakes.

The best Black Forest cake with sour cherry filling is really awesome. It's a pity that the plates used in the shop are of average texture, which fails to improve the overall feeling of the cake. It is a pity that it is visual, but the taste is 100 points.

Wonderful cakes and ice cream. A great place to relax during the hot afternoon.

If you visit Staufen im Breisgau- this is a must visit cafe’ it has a wonderful and traditional ambience. We have visited the town for 20 years or more and always call in for coffee and cake - and a Beer of course!
